单音节词"开(開)、辟(闢)"经过词义的引申发展,都演变出"开阔"义;且"开"产生词组开广、开阔。近代汉语后,"开"表开阔义多用双音词组,单音节仅口语中少有;而"辟"表开阔也逐渐被双音词组"开阔"替换。现代汉语中,"开阔"凝固成常用词。文末分析了演变替换的原因。

After the Modern Times, the use of ＂open＂ as the meaning of ＂open up＂ was mostly used in disyllable word, while monosyllabic only rarely used in spoken language.Meanwhile, ＂break＂, as for the meaning ＂open up＂, its ＂monarch＂ has gradually been replaced by disyllable phrase ＂open on＂. In Modern Chinese, disyllable phrase ＂open up＂ has become a commonly used phrase. In the end, the paper analyzes the reason for the evolution of the substitution.
