70 years passed since the first case of autism was diagnosed by Dr Kanner in 1943. Today people are paying more and more attention to autism with the increase of morbidity and the development of society. Our attitudes to autism are also changing; some neurodiversity movement advocates challenge us to rethink autism through the lens of human diversity. So autism is a disease or a difference of nervous systems? Shall we search for cure it, eliminate it, or respect it as a part of neurodiversity? This study focuses on the different views about autism from people with autism, their parents and doctors, trying to find a way keep the balance of scientific sprits and humanistic sprits.
