The exciter was one of the important pro-ducts of turbo-generator. It was necessary to take mois-ture-proof and anti-rust sealing ＆ packing treatment for the exciter before shipment to guarantee the exciter safety during the long-time transportation and storage and elim-inate such unhealthy tendency as corrosion on the metal structure and moisture on the insulation parts.
