针刺通臂穴为主治疗20例神经根型颈椎病的临床疗效观察

Clinical Observation of 20 cases of Cervical Spondylosis of the nerve root type treated with Acupuncture on Tongbi Point

目的:观察针刺通臂穴治疗神经根型颈椎病的临床疗效。方法:对20例神经根型颈椎病患者以针刺通臂穴为主进行治疗,两个疗程后观察结果,并随访两个月。结果:治愈12例,好转8例,即时有效20例,即时有效率100%,两个月后随访结果显示,症状未反复。结论:针刺通臂穴可以即时改善神经根型颈椎病患者颈部肌肉的僵硬、紧张,减轻患者疼痛和麻木症状,且疗效具有较长稳定性。

Objective： To observe clinical effectiveness of acupuncture on Tongbi point for the treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type. Methods： Twenty patients with cervical spondylosis of nerve root type is given with the primal treatment of acupuncture on Tongbi for treatment courses, and followed up for two months. Results： All patients experienced immediate symptom relief. 12 cases were cured and the other 8 cases of improvement after treatment. The two-month tbllo,^-up showed no relapse. Conclusion： Acupuncture can in- stantly improve the neck muscles in patients with cervical spondylosis of nerve root type of stiffness, tension, re- lieve patients＇pain and numbness symptoms. These effects appear to last at least two months after the treatment was completed, suggesting long term benefit in addition to instant pain relief.
