Relationship of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome and diabetic retinopathy

阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停低通气综合征(obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome,OSAHS)是一种以上气道塌陷反复发作为特征的,最终导致夜间间歇性低氧血症的一类疾病。近年来OSAHS与糖尿病视网膜病变的关系已有报道,我们就两者的临床联系、相关检查及其可能的作用机制进行综述。

Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome（ OSAHS）is a disorder characterized by repeated episodes of collapse of the upper airway during sleep,and ultimately lead to the repeated cycle of night intermittent hypoxemia. Recently,an association of OSAHS and diabetic retinopathy（ DR） has been reported. This paper reviewed the correlation between OSAHS and DR from clinical relationship, the relevant examinations and its possible mechanism of action.
