摘要
在朱熹之前,读书法已然广泛存在,但它们独立于儒学理论体系之外。将读书法引入儒学理论体系的任务是由朱熹完成的。朱熹倡导读书应是为了穷究义理,而不是为了科举或做文章,因而将读书变为格物一事;朱熹又将居敬、存心与读书绾合为一,读书于是又成为了涵养一事。通过这两种途径,朱熹成功地将读书法纳入到了儒学理论体系中来,对儒学理论体系的构建做出了重要贡献。
Reading Methodology already existed before ZHU Xi, but it had nothing to do with Confucianism. Introducing Reading Methodology into Confucian theoretical system was a great mission which was accomplished by ZHU Xi. ZHU Xi advocated that people should read books in order to get the truth, not to pass the Imperial Examination or write essays. Consequently, ZHU Xi turned reading into Ge Wu. ZHU Xi also combined reading and keeping respectful, by which reading functioned as the same as Han Yang. Through these two ways, ZHU Xi succeeded in introducing the Reading Methodology into Confucian theoretical system. This contribution had a huge effect on Chinese tradition.
