The unique utility pattern of the herbal medicine in this area has a close link with the local culture and religion belief, and becomes a characteristic of the regional medicinal history. So, the herbal medicine industry grows very rapidly, producing many medicine celebrities in cities like Guigang, Wuzhou, Qingzhou, Beihai and Yulin. The Traditional Chinese Medicine market in Southeast Gui is the third biggest in China. There are some large-medium size pharmaceutical manufacturers in Yulin and Wuzhou. Government’s administration is also part of Southeast Gui medicine culture.
