基于目的论的京剧剧本翻译效果研究——以《霸王别姬》京剧剧本翻译为例

An Analysis on Peking Opera Script Translation Basing on Spokos Theory:The Translation of Farewell to My Concubine

京剧从1790年形成发展至今已有二百多年的历史。承载着中国文化丰富内涵的京剧,有必要在海外传播,而在向海外传播京剧的过程中,京剧剧本的翻译是京剧有效传播至关重要的环节。本课题组进行了以目的论为指导的京剧剧本英语翻译对京剧在海外传播的有效性实证考察,探讨京剧剧本英文翻译的有效途径及方法。

Peking opera was first introduced to the world in 1790. Since then, it has been performed for more than two hundredyears.Chinesecolorfulcultureembeddedin Peking Opera,thereforethereistheneedtospread Pekingoperaoverseas.Translation of the script plays a key role in presenting Peking opera to the world. This is an empirical study on the translation of script under the guidance of Spokos Theory and effective performance of Peking opera overseas. It proposed to an effective way of translating the script of Peking Opera from Chinese to English.
