Study on Chen Yi's Theory of Cultural Work for Army and Base Areas

在抗战时期,陈毅高度重视新四军和根据地的文化工作,形成了丰富的文化工作理论,如坚持文化工作为抗战服务的方向和理念,创造性地开展新四军和根据地的文化工作;创办学校培养文化专门人才,在实践中锻炼和培养文化干部队伍;筹办报纸杂志,宣传抗日文化;以身作则,做文化工作的楷模和表率等。这是陈毅同志留给我们宝贵的精神与文化遗产。

During Anti-Japanese War,Chen Yi paid great attention to the cultural work of the NewFourth Army and the base areas and created abundant relevant theories,such as holding on the idea that culture work should serve Anti-Japanese War,carrying out culture work creatively in the NewFourth Army and the base area,setting up schools to cultivate specialized talents,training the team of culture work through practice,making preparations for newspaper and magazines publication to spread anti-Japanese culture,taking initiative to be the model of culture work. All of these theories had precious spiritual and cultural heritage from Chen YI which we must continuously develop.
