《宠儿》是诺贝尔获奖作家莫里森的代表作,国内外研究大多围绕种族、性别和文化等关键词展开,从圣经母题的角度进行的研究十分鲜见。《圣经》是犹太教和基督教的宗教经典,是西方文化的重要源泉,对莫里森创作的影响十分深远。对《宠儿》文学创作思想和艺术特色作全方位的探讨和阐释,有益于补充《宠儿》的研究视角。

Beloved is the masterpiece of Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison. Most of the critics of Beloved are concerned with race, gender and culture at home or abroad, but this paper focuses on the Biblical motif.？The Holy Bible is a canonical collection of texts sacred in Judaism and Christianity, and is one of the important sources of western culture and Morrison＇s works. This paper analyzes the Biblical motif in Beloved from the following aspects： the setting, the development of the main plot and the love theme, in order to supply a thorough explanation of the novel＇s feature. In addition, this paper is a good supplemental study for the novel Beloved.
