报告文学是中国文学的一种独特样式,它的繁荣往往同社会变动密切联系,因此可以作为考察当代中国社会、文化的变迁的关键变量。将报告文学在新时期的发展置于改革开放语境下加以考察,能够梳理出当代中国文化与传媒中纪实精神演化的轨迹。在报告文学的发展演变中,孕育和涵养着新时期社会纪实美学,这也构成理解八九十年代报业、电视改革以及"新纪录运动"等文化进程的重要线索。

Reportage is a special form of literature in China.Its prosperity always has something to do with social changes.Thus,reportage could be seen as an important index to understand social and cultural transformations of contemporary China.The paper places the development of reportage in the context of reform and sees it as a clue toward understanding the dynamics of documentary culture in contemporary China.The paper argues that the rise of documentary style within the genre of reportage is an important lead toward studying the press,television reform and new documentary movement during the 80 sand 90s.
