Surgery is one of the most enivent methods in the treatment of keloid,it can remove the foundation and the external factors in the growth of keloid,but also can create the conditions for other treatments,however there is a high recurrence rate with surgical treatment alone,and after relapse the keloid may expand, so surgery may not be the preferred therapy.
