城乡初中生英语学习动机减退影响因素对比研究——以安徽某市四所中学为例 被引量:1

摘要 为了探究城乡初中生英语学习中的动机减退影响因素,本研究采用“初中生英语学习动机减退调查问卷”对来自安徽省亳州市四所不同类型的513名初一至初三学生进行了定量研究。描述性统计结果显示,影响城乡初中生英语学习动机减退的影响因素有四个:社会环境、教师因素、学习者和学习环境。独立样本T检验结果显示,城乡学生之间在教师基本功、语言态度、学习者自信心和经济支持因子上存在显著差异。基于以上结果,笔者认为,教师要提升自己的业务能力,夯实基本功;通过课堂教学引导学生树立正确的语言态度并培养他们学习英语的自信心;要加强教师和家长之间的沟通,指导家长对学生的英语学习提供有效的经济支持。 To explore the factors influencing Junior high school students' demotivation of learning English in urban and rural areas in northern Anhui, this study adopts "Junior High School Students English Learning Demotivation Questionnaire" and investigates 513 students from four different schools in Anhui Province. By doing descriptive statistics, the study results show that the factors influencing middle school students' demotivation of learning English contain four, that is, social environment-related factor, teacherrelated factor, learners-related factor and learning environment-related factor. By doing independent samples T-test, there are significant differences between urban and rural areas as to these four factors: economic support, teacher's basic skills, language learning attitude and learning confidence. We believe that in order to enhance their operational capacity, teachers should reinforce basic skills, guide students to establish a correct attitude towards English language and develop students' confidence and strengthen the communication between teachers and parents.
