摘要 The School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China, was founded in 1956. It consists of two departments: the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Religious Studies. As one of the largest centers for philosophy in China and the world, the School has proved to be one of the best philosophy programs in China, and continues to build its international reputation for academic excellence. At present, there are 80 faculty members, of whom more than 40 are full professors and leading scholars in their respective fields, and more than 500 graduate students and about 150 undergraduate atudents enrolled in the School. The current Dean is Professor Yao Xinzhong, the founding director of Lau China Institute of King's College London. The School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China, was founded in 1956.
