摘要
本研究收集了广东省5个地区32所小学的3年级共57个教学班的数据,发现现阶段我国班额与学生学业成绩呈显著正相关,即班额越大,学生学业成绩越好。这一结论与人们的主观期待和以往国际著名实验的结论相悖。这种班额效应"异常"的困局,既说明我国教育发展低水平均衡的掣肘,是教育资源短缺下大国教育的现实策略;也反映出国家文化对教育形态选择的影响。初级阶段教育均衡的实现是班额效应发挥的前提,现阶段全面推行教育均衡发展政策应优先于学校班额缩减政策,并在中小学推广"小班教学精神计划"。
Using the data from 57 school classes in 3rd grade in Guangdong provience. the analyse found that class size has a significant positive relationship with student achievement. The reasons are uneven distribution of educational resources, the reality of limited educational finance and the influence of national culture to teaching and learning. The priliminary balanced development of education is the precondition of class size effect. The policy of promoting balanced development of education should be prior to class size reducation. We could implement instructional spirit of small class plan at the same time.
