摘要
在短篇小说"我们的故事开始了"中,查理将嵌套故事解读为作家建立叙述权威时所遇的困境:米格尔的求爱历程映射了作家寻找缪斯女神的困难,乔治的叙述过程反映了作家获得出版商认可的难题。本文从叙述角度对故事进行解读,不仅丰富了沃尔夫研究,还完善了钱伯斯的"叙述权威"理论。
Charlie in'Our Story Begins'has read the framed story as his dilemma of constructing a writer's narratorial authority: Miguel mirrors the difficulty of courting the Muses while George reflects the predicament of winning the approval of editors. This narrative interpretation of the story can not only textually enrich scholarship on 'Our Story Begins'but also theoretically modifiy Ross Chambers' s concept of 'narratorial authority. '
