The Role of the 9th Panchen System Played in the Relationship Between Nanking Government and the Local Tibetan Government

南京国民政府建立后,时在内地的九世班禅系统立刻与国民政府建立了联系,国民政府对九世班禅系统也给予了高度重视。因为当时西藏地方政府与九世班禅系统存在着利益竞争,因此九世班禅系统主动与南京国民政府建立联系的举动立即引起了西藏地方政府的效仿,从而在客观上促进了西藏地方政府与南京国民政府间关系的改善。同时,鉴于九世班禅系统在国民政府中深得重视,因此九世班禅系统也成了其他藏区政教团体和人士与南京国民政府间建立联系的桥梁,从而为国民政府与这些藏区政教团体和人士间关系的建立和加强发挥了积极作用。

The 9th Penchen system immediately contacted with the National Government in the early of the Nanjing National Government. At the same time,the Nanjing National Government highly valued on the 9th Panchen system.The Tibetan Local Government followed the example of the 9th Pen Chen system＇s actions. Therefore,the relationship was improved between the Nankins National Government and The Tibetan Local Government. In view of the Nankins National Government＇s emphasis,the 9th Penchen system has become a bridge that establish and strengthen the contact between the Nankins National Government and the political factions and religious figures of the other Tibetan areas. So the 9th Penchen system has played a positive role for establishment and strength of the relationship between the Nanking National Government and the political factions and religious figures of the other Tibetan areas.
