试论藏传佛教在甘肃地区的传播(一)

Discussion on the Spread of Tibetan Buddhism in Gansu

佛教传入中国后,甘肃属较早的传播地域。由于"丝绸之路"和"唐蕃古道"横穿其境,使得这一地区成为中外文化交汇的地带,也是佛教文化传播交流的重要地区。尤其是10世纪后期,藏传佛教也随即产生并日趋成熟,逐步得到了宋朝、西夏和元朝的信任与尊崇,高僧大德也不断往来于吐蕃与内地之间,藏传佛教文化也在甘肃得到了广泛传播,相继建立了不少佛教寺院。

Gansu is one of the earlier territory where Buddhism spread in China. On account of ＂the silk road＂and＂the ancient Tang bo road＂across the border,making thus areas become the heartland of culture at home and broad,and also the important place of the emission the Buddhism culture. Especially in the late of the 10 th century,the Tibetan Buddhism became more mature little by little,and won the trust and respect of the Song Dynasty,the Western Xia regime,and the Yuan Dynasty. At the same time,the eminent monks also acrossed from Tubo and the mainland,then the Tibetan Buddhism culture had spread widely in Gansu and lots of temples had been established.On the basis of the literature of the Chinese and the Tibetan language. This thesis expounds the spread of the Tibetan Buddhism in Gansu.
