湿地学作为一个学科门类发展不足百年历史.湿地学的前身是湖沼学,源于16世纪至19世纪欧洲湖沼研究的深入."湿地"这一术语最早出现于20世纪50年代美国的湿地分类文件中,并因1971年《湿地公约》的出现在全球范围内受到广泛传播和接受.进入20世纪80年代以来,人类环境意识增强,湿地研究蓬勃兴起,成为目前发展最为迅速的学科之一.通过梳理国内外湿地研究的历史,为湿地研究和湿地学科建设提供依据.

Wetland as a science is not more than one hundred years. The predecessor of wetland sciences is limnology which originates in the in-depth study of lakes and marshes in Europe from the 16 th century to the 19 th century. The term ＂ Wetland＂ first appeared in the file of wetland classification in the United States in the 1950 s and due to the Wetland Convention signed in 1971 it is globally widespread and accepted. Especially since entering the 1980 s,and along with the growth of environmental awareness,the wetland sciences have boomed and become one of the most rapidly developing disciplines at present. Based on the history of wetland research at home and abroad,we look forward to providing a basis for the wetland researches and wetland disciplinary construction.
