Quality Assessment of Influenza Surveillance in Hospitals of Mianyang City,2011- 2013

目的评估绵阳市流感监测哨点医院的工作质量,为科学防治流感提供依据。方法收集流感样病例报告情况、标本采集送检情况和组织管理情况等方面的资料进行分析。结果在病例报告和标本采集运送方面,2012-2013年度的监测质量高于2011-2012年度。3家哨点医院在病例报告方面能做到准确、及时、完整上报监测数据;在标本采集运送方面,采集发病3 d内病例的标本达到了有关要求,采样数量和送检时间还需提高;组织管理均不断走向规范。结论哨点医院流感监测质量还需提高,在今后的监测中,要实行奖惩结合机制,加大培训和督导力度,提高监测工作质量。

Objective To assess the quality of influenza surveillance in hospitals of Mianyang and to provide refer- ences for scientific prevention and control measures. Methods The reported cases with influenza - like illnesses （ILI） , relevant information of specimen collection and detecting, as well as management were all collected for analyzing. Results The quality of the surveillance in 2012 - 2013 was better than in 2011 - 2012 in terms of ILI reporting and specimens collecting and transportation. All the three sentinel hospitals reported ILI case ac- curately, timely and completely. The constituent ratio of the specimens within three days met with relevant re- quirements. The specimens＇ quantity and the time spent on specimens transporting should be improved. Addi- tionally, the hospitals＇ management is progressing towards standardization. Conclusion The quality of surveil- lance need to be further improved. Reward and punishment mechanism should be implemented and the intensi- ty of training and supervision are as well to he strengthened to improve the surveillance quality.
