摘要
位于贵州省平塘县的500 m口径球面射电望远镜(FAST)建成后将是世界上最大最灵敏的单口径射电望远镜。为提高望远镜的观测效率和易用性,设计了观测管理系统来优化观测序列和监控观测过程。采用原型迭代开发方法进行了系统设计及原型实现。本文详细阐述了基于观测场景的业务流程分析和观测调度策略、观测翻译等关键设计。然后在4.5m射电望远镜上测试了原型的实现效果,验证了系统设计的可行性,为完整系统的开发提供借鉴。
The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) will be the largest and most sen- sitive single dish radio telescope in the world, which is currently under construction in Pingtang County, Guizhou Province. In order to control telescope easily and execute observations efficiently, we design Observation Man- agement System (OMS) to optimize the observation sequence and monitor the observation process. This paper describes OMS system designs and prototype implementation using the iterative method of prototype development. More details are provided for the analysis of business modeling based on the scene of observation procedure. Strategy for observation unit scheduling and observation sequence translation etc. are also discussed. All these designs have been implemented & tested as a prototype of the control system of a 4.5m radio telescope, which successfully produce real data. This verifies the feasibility of system designs and provides a good frame work for the develooment of a comolete OMS system.
