《西南交通大学校歌》歌词确立时间考辨

The Composition Time for the Lyric of “the Anthem of Southwest Jiaotong University”

西南交通大学于2011年115周年校庆时正式公布了校歌,它是在1947年版《国立交通大学唐山工程学院院歌》基础上稍微修改曲谱而成的。歌词文雅、词义高远,深受师生及校友喜爱。一般认为,歌词是由当时的唐山工程学院国文及历史教员吴稚晖先生于1934年创作完成并确立的。然而从校歌歌词内容、学校年谱杂志和校歌审议文件三个方面,综合《南洋公学交通大学年谱》、《交通大学唐山土木工程学院专章》、《交通大学稿——校徽校训校歌》等史料考辨发现,《国立交通大学唐山工程学院院歌》歌词应于1930年5月左右正式确立。

In 2011,Southwest Jiaotong University published its university anthem on its 115 th anniversary. It was adapted on the basis of 1947 year＇s version of the Anthem of the Tangshan Engineering College of the National Jiaotong University. The lyric is elegant,meaningful and warmly welcomed by students and teachers. As is generally recognized,the lyric was written by Wu Zhi-hui who taught Chinese and history in the Tangshan Engineering College in 1934. However,in the light of the work and memoirs of Wu Zhi-hui and related literatures,the Anthem of the Tangshan Engineering College of National Jiaotong University was officially composed in May 1930.
