In the transition between the old and the new cultures, Zhang Henshui has his own unique insights for writing creative literary works. By the deep influence of traditional culture, Zhang Henshui combined the spirit of the times with the modem transformation of popular literature, and handle the relationship between traditional culture and modem culture as well. This article tries to analyze the theme and structure of Zhang＇s works. The harmonious process between the old and new cultures not only has the symbolic significance of literary history, but also provides a reference to the development of the whole Chinese culture.
