The close relationships between light and human life as well as eyes and the sun are fully discussed. It is fully expounded that light, as the fastest and most sensitive carrier wave to detect infinite large and infinite small objects, bringsus a wealth of information, such as microscopic images, star charts, spectra and diffraction patterns. From a scientific view and academic vision, this review paper presents a comprehensive understanding of light--a spirit that shuttles in macroscopic, microscopic and cosmoscopic world.
