摘要
图书馆阅读推广存在"教育派"与"中立派"的分歧。服务价值观的分歧起源于图书馆哲学思想的历史交锋,表现为一些国际组织关于图书馆社会角色的不同表述。阅读推广的主要目标应定位于激发读者的阅读兴趣。根据图书馆发挥的作用,阅读推广活动的性质可分为3类。图书馆应依据阅读推广活动的不同性质采取相应的价值观策略,并结合阅读推广活动的效果灵活调整。
There is a difference between the "educational view" and the "neutral view" in perceiving library reading promotion. Such a difference in values originates from a historical clash among thoughts of library philosophy, and is represented by some international organizations in their statements concerning social roles of library. The main goal of reading promotion should be arousing the reading interest of readers. Reading promotion activities can be divided into three categories. Libraries should adopt appropriate value strategies based on the category of reading promotion activities, and adjust the strategies flexibly according to the effect of reading promotion activities.
