YU Guangyuan＇s leisure philosophy is the philosophy concerning for freedom and comprehensive development of human beings, it begins from the classic Marxist theory, refers to the theory and practice of leisure in western developed countries, and elucidates the essential characteristics and social role of leisure. This theory proposes that leisure is essentially a way of life, it points to the happiness and joy of human life, to characterize the value and moral choice point of human activity, and which is a necessary path ＂to be a man＂. YU Guangyuan＇s leisure philosophy has such features as practicalness, creativity, historicity and valuableness.
