桑叶浸膏胶囊治疗下肢象皮肿的疗效观察

EFFICACY OF EXTRACTS OF MULBERRY LEAVES FOR TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH FILARIAL ELEPHANTIASIS AT THE LOWER LIMBS

用每粒含桑叶浸膏干粉0.3g 的胶囊,以每人每日3.6g,一个月为一疗程,不结合绑扎患肢的方法,治疗各期下肢象皮肿47例64腿,经一个疗程治疗后,有效率98.44%;经7个疗程治疗后,有效率100.00%,其中基本治愈和显效者66.67%,与口服海群生组疗效相比差异非常显著(P<0.01)。疗前1～2年内仍有淋巴管/结炎发作的病例,经治疗后,有95.74%的患者完全停止发作。初步结果显示本疗法在软化病变组织、消肿、恢复皮肤附属器官功能和控制淋巴管/结炎等各方面均有良好疗效。

Sixty—four affected legs of 47 cases with elephantiasis at lower limbs at different stages of the disease were treated with the extract capsules of mulberry leaves.Each capsule contained 0.3g powdered extract. The daily dosage per patient was 3.6g three times a day in a course of one month without bandage.The re- sults showed that the effective rate was 98.44% after one course and 100% after seven courses.The basi- cally cured and obviously improved rate in one to seven courses was 66.67%,much higher than the group orally given diethylcarbamazine.In addition,97.87% of the patients in this study had a history of typical lymphangitis and Iymphadenitis,out of them 27.66% had attacks of 1—12 times in the previous one to two years before treatment,And no relapse was found on 95.74% of the patients after treatment during the ob- servation period.The preliminary result proved that this drug has a remarkable efficacy for softening the af- fected tissues,subsiding swelling as well as rehabilitating functions of cutaneous appendages and controlling lymphadenitis and lymphangitis etc.Thus this drug could be considered as a choice for the treatment of ele- phantiasis of lower limbs.
