新一代视频编码标准HEVC关键技术及其应用 被引量:5

摘要 ITU-T/VCEG和ISO-IEC/MPEG两大国际标准组织联合推出下一代视频编码标准(high efficient video coding,HEVC),主要为高清/超高清以及3D视频编码服务,目标是实现在保证H.264/AVC视频质量基础上,压缩率可提高50%.针对之前的编码标准,在介绍HEVC技术发展背景的同时,重点介绍了其预测编码和变换编码相结合的混合编码器框架,基于4叉树和扩分块单元的数据结构,多角度的帧内预测模式和采用先进运动矢量预测技术的帧间预测模式,以及其对并行化特有的数据处理方式和针对3D视频编码应用.最后,总结了HEVC的最新应用并对其未来发展方向进行了展望. High efficient video coding (HEVC) becomes the hot area in the world's leading research institutions, since the ITU-T/VCEG and ISO-IEC/MPEG two international standards organization proposed the next generation video coding standard. The main purpose of HEVC is to reduce 50% bit rate for equal perceptual video quality relative to the existing standard, and service for the high definition (HD)/ultra HD and 3d video encoding. Compared with the existing standard, this paper provides the overview of HEVC, introduces the new technologies and features about HEVC coding data structure, improvement and new technologies to the existing standard, and finally draws the conclusion about the key technologies and future research direction of HEVC.
