摘要
NURBS曲面在表征带球鼻艏、折角线船体三维曲面时必须分片处理,增加了曲面造型复杂度,影响船体曲面建模效率。为解决这一问题,采用T样条曲面表征复杂特征船体曲面,从3种典型特征船体曲面表达入手,探索T样条在复杂特征船体曲面造型中的应用。研究表明,与NURBS曲面表征相比,T样条曲面能够采用单个曲面、更少的控制点表征复杂的船体局部特征,非常适合用于船舶设计中的船体曲面造型,是船舶领域前景广阔的CAD新技术。
A ship hull with bulbous bow or knuckle line must be divided into several patches and represented with NURBS surfaces, which increases the complexity of surface modeling and affects parametric design efficiency of the hull surface. In order to solve this problem, T-spline surface is used to represent the complex hull surface. Three types of ship hull surfaces are represented by using T-splines. It is indicated that T-spline is able to represent complicated local characteristic with only single surface and less control points than NURBS. T-spline is a promising CAD technology and more suitable for ship hull design.
