摘要
本文实证考察了硕士毕业生在工作找寻过程中求职次数的多少以及在工作找寻过程中花费的总成本与他们最终工作找寻结果之间的关系。实证结果发现:毕业生求职的次数越多,越有可能求职成功,也能够找到起薪显著更高的工作。但毕业生在求职上花费的更多却既不能帮助他们提高工作找寻成功的概率,也不能帮助他们找到起薪更高的工作。基于此,本文建议毕业生在找寻工作中不要盲目花费,应掌握求职策略、确定求职目标,有针对性地去求职。
This paper empirically examines the relationship among the intensity, cost and final outcome of master's students'job searching. The result shows that a graduate who has job searching intensity is more likely to have a successful searching outcome as well as to receive significantly higher starting wage. However, higher cost of the search process does not correlate with increasing probability of success or higher starting wage positions.
