文化是民族的血脉,是人民的精神家园。闽南地区利用独特的地域优势,大力"走出去"和"引进来",形成了一种既有本土气派而又不失外来风格的侨乡特色文化,对当地发展起了重要的推动作用。同时,闽南侨乡在文化建设中也呈现出一些困境,主要表现为中外文化、古今文化的冲突和碰撞。充分发挥侨乡文化特色,对指导侨乡文化建设,促进侨乡文化的发展、繁荣具有重要作用。

Culture is a natioffs blood and the spiritual home of its people. Southern region of Fujian province tares advantages of its geography and implements the principles of ＂ going out＂ and ＂ bringing in＂. Therefore, a distinctive overseas Chinese culture with local feature and exotic style has formed, which plays an important role in promoting local develop- ment. However, some dilemmas emerged in the cultural development of this region, mainly including the conflicts and collisions between foreign and Chinese culture, ancient and modern culture. Therefore, it is of significance to guide the cultural construction and promote the cultural development and prosperity by giving full play of the cultural characteristics of these regions.
