关于延迟退休年龄的几点思考

党的"十八大"闭幕以来,延迟退休年龄问题引起了社会各界的广泛关注。延迟退休是世界各国普遍推行的应对人口结构变化,充分利用老年劳动力资源,缓解养老金支付压力,促进社会经济快速增长的好办法。我国人口老龄化严重,养老金支付缺口巨大,同时,人口平均寿命延长,老龄人口健康水平普遍提高,因此,实行弹性退休制度势在必行。

After the 18^th CPC National Congress, the problem of postponing retirement age was pied attention to by people around the country. Postponing retirement age is a useful approach for many countries over the world to deal with the changing demographic structure, to take full advantage of the elder labor resource, to cope with the pressure of pension and to boost fast economic growth. China is faced with the aging of population and has serious problem with paying pensions. Meanwhile, life expectancy as well as the health status of the elderly is enhancing. Therefore, flexible retirement system is imperative in China.
