Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Shensongyangxin capsules combined with metoprolol succi -nate extended release tablets in the treatment of premature ventricular contractions .Methods From April 2012 to September 2013 ,100 cases of patients with premature ventricular contractions were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each of 50 cases. On the basis of conventional treatment of primary disease ,both groups were discontinued taking anti ar-rhythmic drugs more than 7d.The control group received metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets for treatment;on the ba-sis of the control group, the treatment group was added with Shensongyangxin capsules ,4 capsules/time,3 times/d.The 2 groups were treated for 1 course (4 weeks for a course). The efficacy and adverse reactions of 2 groups were observed. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.0%,which was higher than 78.0% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P〈0.05).The total efficiency of dynamic electrocardiogram symptoms improvement of the treat -ment group was 84.0%,which was higher than 62.0% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P〈0.05 ) .Conclusion The method that Shensongyangxin capsules combined with metoprolol succinate extended release tablets can improve curative effect in the treatment of premature ventricular contractions ,with good safety ,which is worthy of populari-zation and application .
