In this paper, It mainly introduces how to transform the tension control system of old dry laminating equipment, including introducing the theory, ideas of transformation, the configuration of hardware and software and reconstruction effect. After tlansformation,the old eguipment can not only obtain a very stable tension control effect, but also with a wide range of speed regulation,realizing the function of high torque operation at low speed, accuracy of torque control, rapid command response and safe protection. Moreover, it also obtains a more stable tension control during deceleration.
