Keeping on the Right Path:Mr. ZHOU Liang's Life and the Development of Pingtan

周良先生是伴随着评弹艺术的发展而前进的,其不仅是杰出的走正路的评弹工作管理者亦是评弹艺术规律的不断探寻者,不仅仅是陈云文艺思想的实践与传承者也是评弹艺术的忠诚守护者。在近60年的评弹工作中,周良先生在保存评弹艺术、保护评弹艺人、探索评弹艺术规律、促进评弹艺术改革以及落实陈云同志文艺思想等方面做出了重要的贡献。

Mr. ZHOU Liang’s life is accompanied by the development of Pingtan art（ storytelling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect）. He is not only an outstanding Pingtan manager,but also an active explorer of Pingtan art. He is not only a successor and developer of CHEN Yun ’s literary thought,but also a faithful guardian of Pingtan art. In the nearly 60 years of Pingtan work,Mr. ZHOU Liang has made an important contributions in such aspects as saving Pingtan art,protecting Pingtan artists,exploring the law of Pingtan art,promoting the reform of Pingtan art,carrying out the literary thought of comrade CHEN Yun,etc.
