摘要 只要在不降低成纸质量或产量的情况下,降低综合成本几乎是全球所有造纸厂的首要目标。索理思公司研发的创新方法OptiFill方案,可以使纸厂提高成纸强度,因此能够提高成纸灰分或降低长纤维用量。OptiFill新型填料-纤维优化方案,适用于含有漂白浆/碳酸盐填料的文化纸以及部分包装纸板系统。在维持成纸质量和纸机产能的情况下,现已证明该方案可以显著降低成本。本文阐述了该创新方法提高纸张强度,保证质量(干强度)和产能(湿纸幅强度)的主要组成部分。增强机理主要基于形成适度的填料絮聚,以及利用新型聚合物技术在填料和纤维之间形成具有强度的网络结构。该新型聚合物技术与系统的荧光增白剂具有较好的配伍性,并能承受纸机抄造系统的剪切力。该方案只需简易设备即能实现,所需投入资金较少。本文同时阐述了该方案的应用案例,着重强调该创新方法在提高成纸5%灰分的情况下,能够在维持松厚度、内结合强度和掉粉等重要纸张特性的同时保证纸机产能。 Reducing overall cost is the primary goal of nearly every paper manufacturer around the world, unless it compromises quality or productivity. A new innovative approach allows papermakers to increase sheet strength, which subsequently enables them to increase filler or reduce long fiber. Marketed as OptiFill, this new filler-fiber optimization program from Solenis was developed for bleached/ carbonate containing systems found in printing and writing and some packaging grades. This program has demonstrated significant cost reduction while maintaining both quality and machine productivity. This paper presents the key components of this new program, which generates strength to maintain quality (dry strength) and productivity (wet-web). The strength mechanisms are based on generating mild filler aggregation and on creating a strength network between filler and fibers using innovative polymer technologies that are designed to work to be compatible with optical brightener systems and to withstand shear forces from the papermaking systems. This program requires simple equipment to implement, therefore very little capital is required to implement. Case histories are presented, highlighting where this innovative approach has proven to maintain vital paper properties such as bulk, internal bond and dusting while increasing filler up to five percent and maintaining machine productivity.
