摘要
本文利用2003-2011年31省市面板数据,从经济绩效与社会绩效两个方面评估中国电信业运营绩效的演变过程,实证检验了网络融合、政府规制等因素的绩效影响,并着重就经济绩效模型与社会绩效模型下的估计结果进行比较。研究发现:中国电信业的经济绩效趋于下上升,社会绩效则趋于下降;网络融合对经济、社会绩效均起到了积极的促进作用,一个良好的区域经济环境有利于电信业绩效的改善。
Based on panel data of 31 provinces from 2003 to 2011,this paper assesses the changes in operational performance of China's telecom industry from both economic and social aspects. The study finds that the economic performance of China's telecom industry has a tendency to rise while the social performance has a tendency to decline. In comparison,the eastern region is the highest in economic and social performance,while the western region is the lowest. Network integration plays a positive role in promoting both economic and social performance,but government reform has a negative impact. A good regional economic environment is conducive to better performance of the telecommunications industry.
