摘要
MOOCs教学模式与传统大学在线课程相比,具有两个关键的特性:(1)开放性——任何人都可以参与免费的在线课程学习(内容开放、教师开放、学生开放);(2)可伸缩性——课程旨在支持无限数量的师生参与。MOOCs教学模式建立在开放教育理念之上,即知识应该自由的共享,人们学习的愿望不应受到人口数量、经济发展水平和地理位置的限制。因此,MOOCs必将对世界高等教育发展带来影响,也将促进我国高等教育的学校教育与网络教育、正式学习与非正式学习的进一步融合和相互促进。
In contrast to traditional university online courses,MOOCs have two key features: 1. Open access-anyone can participate in an online course for free. 2. Scalability-courses are designed to support an indefinite number of participants. The development of MOOCs is rooted within the ideals of openness in education,that knowledge should be shared freely,and the desire to learn should be met without demographic,economic,and geographical constraints. MOOCs will,therefore,affect the development of higher education in the world and will also propel further integration and mutual promotion of China's higher education both in campus education and network education,as well ad formal learning and informal learning.
