摘要
从四能级速率方程和功率传输方程出发,分析了掺钕塑料光纤的放大特性.分析了信号增益与光纤长度的关系,当泵浦功率为200 m W时,最佳增益长度为70 cm,波长1068 nm荧光对应最大增益为10.5 d B.分析了信号增益随泵浦功率、光纤纤芯的变化规律,得到了减小光纤芯径是降低阈值泵浦功率有效途径之一的结论.
The amplification characteristics of Nd3 + - doped plastic optical fiber were analysed by using the rate equation for the four - level system and power transmission equation. The maximum gain of 10.5dB was achieved at 1068 nm wavelength with 200 mW pump power, 70 cm fiber length. The variety relation of signal gain with pump power, fiber core diameter was also analysed. The results showed that decrecese the fiber core diameter is one of the effective ways to reduce the threshold pump power.
