Effects of Mn/Fe Mass Ratio Mass Ratio on Microstructure and Properties of Hypereutectic Al-Si Alloy with Higher Iron Content

摘要 利用显微镜观察、SEM、EDS以及XRD分析等手段,研究了不同Mn、Fe质量比对Al-15Si-3Fe合金中的富Fe相形态和性能的影响。结果表明,Al-15Si-3Fe合金中加入Mn后,富Fe相形态由尺寸较长的针状β相和σ相向鱼骨状、三叶状的α相转变,有利于降低Fe元素给合金力学性能带来的不利影响。同时合金中富Fe相会出现大量团聚重叠现象,且这种现象随着Mn、Fe含量比的增大而加剧,这会导致合金力学性能不断降低。 Using a optical microscope, SEM, EDS and XRD analysis method, effects of different w(Mn)/w(Fe) ratio on the Fe-enrichment phase morphology and performance of the hypereutectic alu- minum silicon alloy with high iron content were investigated. Results show that the Fe-enrichment phase morphology in Al-15Si-3Fe with addition of Mn is transformed from long acicular β phase and a phase in- to herringbone and trifoliate a phase, which is helpful for reducing the negative influence of Fe element on the mechanical properties of the alloy. However, Fe-enrichment phase in the alloy will agglomerate with increasing in Mn addition, and it becomes serious as w(Mn)/w(Fe) increases, leading to decrease of mechanical properties of the alloy.
