文化语境视域下的中国民歌汉英翻译模式研究——以《中国新民歌选(汉英对照)》为例

A Study on the Chinese-English Translation Mode of Chinese Folk Songs from the Perspective of Cultural Context

从语言和文化的演化发展看,二者相互依存,不可分割。而翻译作为对外文化交流的重要工具,承载着传播不同文化知识,了解不同民族风情,沟通不通思想情感的职责。本文以《中国新民歌选(汉英对照)》为例,指出汉英翻译中的文化语境的功能,并提出了注意意合与形合,异化、归化并用互补等翻译策略,更好地让读者体察中外文化的语言特色。

Language and culture is an interdependent and inseparable unit. And translation is a tool for cultural exchange, helping people form a better communication and thoughts, spread out cultural knowledge, and promote social civilization. Based on the case study of New Folk Songs of China（Chinese-English edition）, the paper points out the function of cultural context in Chinese-English translation and introduces some translating approaches（such as the combination of parataxis and hypostasis, the combination of foreinization and domestication） for the readers to better understand the linguistic characteristics of Chinese and foreign cultures.
