A Review of Tasks and Types of English Oral Tests and Their Impact on Test Performance

本研究就Bachman(1990)的测试方法特点及Bachman和Palmer(1996)的语言任务特点的双重理论模式进行了研究,并就口语测试任务与类型对口语测试结果影响做了综述,以期为今后口语测试任务的开发提供一定的理论和实证基础。

This study examines the theoretical frameworks of both test method facets （Bachman, 1990） and language task characteristics （Bachman ＆ Palmer, 1996）. It also reviews the impact of tasks and types of English oral tests on test takers＇ performance in the hope that the study may provide a sound theoretical and empirical basis for the future development of oral test tasks.
