马家窑文化之彩陶纹饰有上百种,有丰富的文化内涵。其中蛙纹、鹿纹与鸟纹为图腾纹,以蛙纹最有特色,是早期的巫师形象。

There are over 100 signs on the potteries in Majiayao culture, which convey rich and profound connotation. The figures of the frog, deer and bird are believed to be the Totem symbols, in which the most prominent one is the frog since it was the image of the earliest witch.
