《帝王略论》记录了李世民与虞世南对历代政治人物得失的讨论,其中涉及到对曹操、刘备、孙权、诸葛亮及司马懿父子的评价,可惜历来没有能够进入相关研究者的视野。书中讨论三国人物的文字虽然不多,但一些看法中肯独到,其评点准则和方法颇有可圈点之处,值得研究者关注。

Comments on characters of Three Kingdom in Diwang Luelun by Yu Shinan involve Cao Cao,Liu Bei,Sun Quan,Zhuge Liang,Sima Yi,Sima Shi and Sima Zhao,which has never been paid attention to by some researchers. The words on those characters are not so much,however,some are pertinent and unique,and the criterion and the method is worthy of attention from researchers.
