克服导游口译中少数民族文化障碍的策略

Strategies for Overcoming the Minority Cultural Barriers in Tour Guide Oral Interpretation

文章从人名地名、民俗风物、少数民族借词三个方面分析了新疆少数民族多元文化给导游口译带来的特殊困难。在此基础上,通过理论探讨和大量的实例分析,指出导译员应本着服务游客、传播民族文化的原则,按照国家统一规定音译少数民族人名、地名;采用多管齐下的翻译策略有效传输民俗文化;间接转换少数民族借词。

This paper analyzes the special difficulties that pluralistic culture in Xinjiang minorities brings to guide interpretation from three aspects： name, scenery, folk and minority loanword. On this basis, through theoretical discussion and analysis of a large number of examples, it points out that the guide interpreter should transliterate person names and place names based on the principle of serving tourists and spreading national culture in accordance with the national provisions; adopt a variety of translation strategies to efficiently spread folk culture; indirectly convert minority loan words.
