Geological conditions and oil transportation process of a new long distance pipeline were introduced as well as the selection standard of anticorrosion layer of heat preservation pipeline, two cathodic protection methods of the buried pipeline were compared. At last, the anticonrrosive coating and insulating layer of pipeline were determined as well as the pipeline cathodic protection method.
