文化是文明的基础,文明是文化的较高阶段,是文化中先进的、合理的、进步的部分。文化中的文明含量与文化的先进性成正比。而自由不仅是个人追求幸福生活的根本保障,也是人之为人的重要标志,更是文明的界限与标尺。在文明的阶梯上,只有自由才能使人们奋然前行。

Culture is the basis of civilization. Civilization is the culture＇s higher stage and the advanced,reasonable and progressive part of culture. The civilization content in culture is in direct proportion to the advancement of culture. Freedom is not only the basic guarantee for a person to pursue happy life and the important symbol for being a person,but also is the marker of civilization. In the process to civilization,only freedom makes one press forward.
