ZHOU Daihan's Experience in Treatment of Primary Liver Cancer

周岱翰教授认为在中晚期原发性肝癌(简称肝癌)治疗中引入巴塞罗那临床肝癌(BCLC)分期系统,此种作法有利于发挥中医药改善肝功能的优势,善用中药配合西药治疗(放射、化学药物、靶向药物、介入等)以发挥中药增效减毒作用;在肝癌的临证治疗中,抓住热、瘀、虚,分三型论治肝癌,遵循认病辨证原则,选择有针对性的抗癌药治疗肝癌;提出"带瘤生存"观,提高肝癌患者的整体生存时间。

In Professor ZHOU Daihan＇s view,in the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma（liver cancer）,introducing Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer（ BCLC） staging system is conducive to play the advantages of Chinese medicine to improve liver function. Professor ZHOU is good at combining Chinese medicine with western medicine treatment（ radiation,chemicals,targeted drugs,intervention,etc.） to play the role of enhancing effect and reducing toxicity of traditional Chinese medicine. Clinically,following the principle of disease recognition and syndrome differentiation,ZHOU classifies liver cancer into three types： heat,stasis and deficiency. He chooses individualized anticancer Chinese herbs to treat liver cancer. ZHOU puts forward to the concept of ＂survival with tumor＂,which focuses on prolonging the survival with liver cancer.
