Transition and New Trends of Quality Assurance Reform in Australian Higher Education

20世纪80年代后期,澳大利亚逐步建立高等教育质量保障机制,并以此推动了以质量和效率为核心目标的高等教育体系重构。2000年,澳大利亚质量保障框架形成,这使得澳大利亚成为通过审核模式对高等教育进行质量保障的代表性国家之一,面对新的国际竞争形势,澳政府重启改革,尝试建立一个确保本国高等教育质量的"现代化的监管架构"。

The Australian higher education quality assurance system was preliminarily formed in the late 1980 swhich,to some extent,promoted the reconstruction targeting high quality and efficiency of the whole higher education system.After more than one decade's endeavor,the Australian Quality Assurance Framework has been established,which makes Australia one of the representative nations applying audit model in higher education quality assurance.Confronted with the fiercer international competition,Australian government has been implementing a series of new initiatives trying to establish a ' modern regulatory framework' to ensure the provision for higher education quality.
