殷墟卜辞中常见"■",其句式结构为"氏名+■",内涵意义可为军事组织或聚落单位,有时可单指个人,即作为某长官。"才(在)■"为出组卜辞中独特的用法,仅作为指称地名之用。商王经常"才(在)■"举行各种祭祀活动,甚至包含周祭,亦有"才(在)■"打猎的记录。"■"通常散布在离王都较远的近畿和边域内。
The expression of ‘■ ' in the sentence pattern of ‘surname and first name + ' refers to a military group, or a tribe, or a senior officer of a certain organization, it's read in the inscribed oracle bones unearthed from the Yin Ruins site in many cases, whereas the other one of ‘ 才( 在)■ ' from Chu( 出) group bone inscription just means in a certain place or somewhere. It is recorded in the history materials that the kings of the Shang dynasty used to go hunting and hold all ceremonial activities including the cyclical sacrifice ceremonies ‘ 才( 在)■ ' which were usually situated far away from the royal capital or close to the frontiers.
